ELIZABETH STEVES Going to the Arctic on August, 2008 with STUDENTS ON ICE
Liz was with us last year to upgrade her science credit so she could qualify for the Environmental Studies program at Kwantlen College.
Although she's been in college full time and working, she has made time to keep our school recycling program going.
Liz picks up the school's recyclables herself and takes them to Choices Market -- a community leader when it comes to making it easy for shoppers to pick up groceries and drop off about 90% of their old packaging at the same time.
Over the next few months she'll be involved in a fundraising drive to put together the $7500 needed to make this dream come true.
